Winter Weather Advisory In Effect

Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST this
evening…

* timing… rain will change to snow early this morning… and
continue into the afternoon. Moderate snow will be likely at
times before diminishing late Friday afternoon.

* Accumulations… storm total snowfall accumulations of 2 to 4
inches are expected.

* Wind and visibility… north to northwest winds of 30 to 45 mph
will be likely. This may reduce the visibility to around a
quarter mile at times creating difficult driving conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions…

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilitiy will be limited due to a combination of falling and
blowing snow. Use caution when traveling… especially in open
areas.
